Cobb County Man Accused of Terrorizing Multiple Victims, Including Spouse of Actor from TV Show ‘Dexter’

A man from Cobb County is facing serious accusations of terrorizing multiple victims through threatening messages on social media, as reported in an FBI arrest warrant dated August 6.

The warrant states that Emerson Guevara allegedly sent threatening messages to various social media users, including expressing harmful intentions towards an individual known as Victim 7. In one instance, he even claimed he wanted to be identified as the “Idaho murderer” and likened himself to Ted Bundy.

According to FBI special agent Joshua Floyd, Guevara initially reached out to an unidentified Victim 1 on TikTok and Discord in June of the previous year. Following a livestream where Guevara sent gifts, he started sending disturbing messages to Victim 1, including graphic threats of violence and a mass shooting.

Further allegations suggest that Guevara harassed the spouse of a TV show actor from “Dexter” through phone calls, threatening to appear at an upcoming television premiere. Despite warnings from FBI agents in Baltimore after threatening Victims 2 and 3, Guevara persisted in his threatening behavior, with the Montgomery County Police Department being made aware of threats made to Victim 4 last June, including a mention of a mass shooting at his former school.

In a separate incident in May of this year, Guevara reportedly threatened Victim 5, escalating to threats of rape, murder, and a mass shooting after being rejected. A search of Guevara’s residence in Cobb County led to the discovery of various weapons and ammunition, resulting in his arrest by local authorities and placement on an “involuntary hold” for mental health concerns.

On August 5, the FBI office in Milwaukee alerted the Atlanta office about Guevara’s alleged violent messages to another individual, Victim 6, stating that he knew their whereabouts. The situation remains ongoing as law enforcement officials continue their investigation.
