Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley’s “Count My Lies” Series Order on Hulu
Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley’s “Count My Lies” is officially getting the green light at Hulu! The limited series, led by “This Is Us” co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, has been picked up by Hulu after being in development since April. Woodley takes on the role of Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who weasels her way into a nanny job for the charming couple, Violet (played by Lohan) and Jay Lockhart. Little does Sloane know, secrets in the Lockhart household are about to explode, leading to potentially disastrous consequences for everyone involved. This captivating series is based on Sophie Stava’s novel of the same name, a book that was the “GMA” Book Club’s pick for March. Stava is on board as a producer, with Aptaker and Berger serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. Scott Morgan from the Walk-Up Company is also executive producing. The show is produced by 20th Television. In addition to “Count My Lies,” Woodley will also star in the upcoming second season of Hulu’s “Paradise” created by Dan Fogelman from “This Is Us.” Woodley is known for her roles in “Big Little Lies,” the “Divergent” trilogy, “The Fault in Our Stars,” and many other popular films and series. Aptaker and Berger, who were behind Hulu’s “How I Met Your Father,” bring their creative talents to this exciting new project.
