Daredevil’s Charlie Cox teases potential end for “Born Again” arc after Season 2
Charlie Cox recently hinted that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 could be the show’s final season. The series premiered on Disney+ in March 2025 and continues the story from the Netflix Daredevil series, with Cox returning as Matt Murdock, along with Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher.
A second season of Daredevil: Born Again is expected to debut in March 2026 as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. In a panel shared on Instagram by GalaxyCon, Cox mentioned that the latest season, set to feature a black costume, is his favorite for various reasons. He expressed excitement over a unique element that will be introduced in the final season, something that is not found in the comics.
While Cox’s comments suggest that Season 2 could be the show’s last, it’s essential to note that there hasn’t been an official announcement from Marvel confirming the end of Daredevil: Born Again after its second season. The possibility remains that Cox misspoke or intended to refer to it as the latest season rather than the final season.
Additionally, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is slated to receive a television special in the near future, although details on this project, including a release date, are still pending. As fans eagerly anticipate the continuation of these beloved characters in the MCU, it’s clear that exciting developments are on the horizon for the superhero entertainment genre.
