NBA Returns to NBC and Peacock: October 21 Doubleheader

The NBA is making a big return to NBC and Peacock on October 21, 2025, with an exciting doubleheader! The action kicks off with the reigning champs, the Oklahoma City Thunder, facing off against the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. ET. Then, the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors at 10 p.m. ET.

NBC, which inked a deal with the NBA last year, has also announced that ‘Peacock NBA Monday’ will debut on October 27. The Cleveland Cavaliers will clash with the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves hosting the Denver Nuggets at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Exciting news for basketball fans – Peacock will be streaming up to three games every Monday night during the regular NBA season. Plus, there will be a 30-minute pre-game show before the live action starts.

Get ready for more basketball action after the final NFL Sunday Night Football game in 2026! NBC will be launching Sunday Night Basketball on NBC and Peacock starting on February 1, 2026. Each week, a one-hour studio program will set the stage for the game coverage.
