William H. Macy to Star in Dan Fogelman’s NFL Series for Hulu
William H. Macy, best known for his role in Shameless, is set to star in an upcoming Hulu series created by Dan Fogelman that takes viewers inside the world of the NFL. The show will have a generational family component, adding an extra layer of depth to the storyline.
Macy will be playing the role of Hank Durkin, a series regular alongside Christopher Meloni, who will portray Danny Roarke, the head coach of an NFL team. The series is a collaboration between 20th Television and Skydance Sports, with Fogelman serving as writer and executive producer.
