UFC Signs $7.7 Billion Deal with Paramount+

Paramount has just made a big move, scoring a $7.7 billion deal to bring UFC events to Paramount+ for the next seven years. This deal shakes things up by making Paramount+ the new streaming home for UFC events in the United States, and there are plans to pursue international rights as well when they become available.

As part of this deal, the traditional UFC pay-per-view model is being retired. Instead, Paramount+ subscribers will get access to premium events, like Fight Nights, at no extra cost. Plus, some of the numbered UFC events will also be shown on CBS.

David Ellison, Paramount’s chairman and CEO, is thrilled about this partnership with UFC. According to him, having the chance to exclusively partner with a global sports powerhouse like UFC is a rare and fantastic opportunity. This deal marks a significant step for Paramount, following its recent acquisition by Skydance.

So, UFC fans, get ready for more action and entertainment coming your way on Paramount+ in the near future!
