Everyone loves a good night out, and the Webster Groves community came together for just that during National Night Out. Families and neighbors joined local law enforcement and first responders to celebrate community unity and safety.

One of the highlights of the evening was a motor vehicle extrication demonstration by Webster Groves firefighters. They showcased their skills and expertise in handling emergency situations to the delight of the crowd.

Officer Josiah Peacock of the Ellisville police department also captivated the audience with a bite demonstration featuring his K-9 partner, Pia. The dynamic duo from the Maryland Heights K-9 unit impressed everyone with their teamwork and precision.

Families had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a Metro Air Support Unit helicopter, adding an exciting and educational element to the event. Children and adults alike marveled at the aircraft and learned more about its role in keeping the community safe.

The Webster Groves Civic Center gym turned into a hub of activity as families enjoyed a friendly game of basketball. From young children taking their shot at the hoop to parents cheering them on, the gym buzzed with energy and laughter.

National Night Out in Webster Groves was a true celebration of community spirit and cooperation. By bringing together residents, law enforcement, and first responders, the event emphasized the importance of working together to create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
