City Centre Nightclub Closes After 20 Years in Liverpool

A popular Liverpool city centre pub, Peacock, has closed its doors after 20 years, but it’s not all bad news. The venue is set to reopen in the coming weeks with a new concept called Crooked Crown. Known for its student-themed nights and budget-friendly atmosphere, Peacock was a favorite spot for many who called Liverpool home.

The new venue, Crooked Crown, will offer a fresh look reflecting the changing hospitality scene in the city. Philip Gillesipe from JSM’s Pub Invest Group, the company behind the transformation, mentioned, “We are excited about the new venue Crooked Crown and the possibility of creating new memories there.”

In addition to the Peacock transformation, JSM group has been making changes around the city, including bringing back the iconic Epstein Theatre and opening Temple Tavern. Temple Tavern promises to offer city center pricing and a unique experience with its selection of Irish whiskeys and traditional Irish music sessions throughout the week.

With a focus on creating an intimate yet lively pub atmosphere, Temple Tavern looks forward to welcoming customers and offering a truly unique experience in the heart of Liverpool.
