FOX One Streaming Service Launch Date and Pricing Announced
Earlier this year, we shared news about FOX’s plans for a standalone streaming service led by a former Apple TV+ veteran. FOX has now revealed the launch date and pricing for its direct-to-consumer subscription video service.
FOX One is set to launch in just two weeks on Thursday, August 21. The service will be available for $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year, which is pricier compared to other network streaming services. For example, CBS offers Paramount+ starting at $7.99 per month, while NBC’s Peacock starts at $10.99 per month.
Despite the cost, FOX One allows cord-cutters to access content from various FOX channels, including live sports and more. The service aims to bring together all FOX News, Sports, and Entertainment branded content into one platform for the first time.
Users can expect real-time news, sports, bold voices, and defining stories from FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX Weather, FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, B1G, FOX Local Stations, and the FOX Network. FOX Nation and B1G+ will also be part of the FOX One platform.
Pete Distad, the CEO of Direct to Consumer at Fox Corporation and a former Apple TV+ executive, is leading the development of FOX One. The service will also offer a bundle option that includes FOX Nation for $24.99 per month or $19.99 per month as part of an annual plan at launch.
In conclusion, FOX One promises an all-in-one platform for FOX content, making it a comprehensive streaming service for fans of the network.
