Cindy Holland Named Head of Streaming at Paramount Skydance
Former Netflix executive Cindy Holland has been named the head of streaming for Paramount Skydance, which includes overseeing Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Holland, who spent 16 years at Netflix and was VP of original content, worked with Skydance CEO David Ellison during the $8 billion acquisition of Paramount Global. Tom Ryan, who led Pluto TV at Paramount Global, is leaving the company.
Ellison will serve as CEO of the new company, with Jeff Shell as president. Dana Goldberg and Jeff Greenstein will co-chair Paramount Pictures, while George Cheeks will continue to lead the TV media unit. Brian Robbins is expected to leave the company after the merger. Stephanie Kyoko McKinnon, general counsel at Skydance, will assume the same role at the new company, and Jim Stermer will be chief people officer, with Melissa Zukerman as chief communications officer.
