Haley Bennett (playing Ella) Hi, I’m Haley Bennett and I play Ella in “My Oxford Year”. Ella is a brilliant young woman who receives a scholarship to study at Oxford University. She’s ambitious, hardworking, and determined to make the most of this opportunity. 2. Sam Heughan (playing Jamie) I’m Sam Heughan and I play Jamie in the series. Jamie is a charming and charismatic professor at Oxford who crosses paths with Ella. He’s confident, passionate about his work, and has a mysterious past that adds depth to his character. 3. Emma Roberts (playing Lucy) I’m Emma Roberts and I play Lucy, Ella’s best friend and roommate in Oxford. Lucy is a fun and supportive friend who always has Ella’s back. One of my favorite moments was filming a scene in front of the Bodleian Library, which is such an iconic location in Oxford. Sam Heughan: Oxford has a magical quality that added an extra layer of authenticity to our performances. One of my memorable moments was shooting a scene in a quaint pub in the city centre, surrounded by locals who were so welcoming and supportive of our production. Emma Roberts: The charm and elegance of Oxford really brought the story to life and created a sense of immersion for us as actors. One of my favorite moments was filming a scene on a punt boat on the River Thames, with the sun setting behind us and creating a breathtaking scene that I’ll never forget.
