Terrible Prime Video Movie with 0% Score Reaches New Low
Over on Amazon Prime Video, a new science fiction thriller has been making waves, but not in the way you might hope. Fans are calling it the “worst movie of all time,” and it’s got everyone talking – for all the wrong reasons.
While Prime Video has had some big hits this year with G20 and Heads of State, their latest release, War of the Worlds, seems to have flown under the radar. Starring Ice Cube in a reimagining of HG Wells’ classic alien invasion story, this movie has not fared well with critics or viewers.
In fact, War of the Worlds has earned a dismal 0 percent rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and viewers haven’t been much kinder, giving it just 11 percent. That’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.
This version of the timeless sci-fi tale puts Ice Cube in the role of a cyber-security specialist for Homeland Security, and takes inspiration from the unique ‘screenlife’ style of storytelling, where everything unfolds on screens like computers and mobile phones.
But despite its innovative approach, audiences have not been impressed. One Reddit user described the movie as “on another level of bad,” while another lamented that it might be one of the worst films they’ve ever seen. Ouch.
Others have been equally critical, with one viewer suggesting it could be the “worst movie of all time.” Strong words for sure.
If you’re feeling brave enough to give it a watch, War of the Worlds is available to stream on Prime Video. But approach with caution – you’ve been warned.
