Netflix Adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice” Cast Revealed: Full List
Netflix has officially announced the cast for their upcoming adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice,” and it’s shaping up to be a star-studded affair! Set to be a six-part limited series, the show has already begun production in the U.K.
Some of the names you can expect to see include Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, and Rhea Norwood portraying Lydia Bennet. Additionally, Louis Partridge will take on the role of Mr. Wickham, while Jamie Demetriou is set to play Mr. Collins, and Fiona Shaw will embody Lady Catherine de Bourg.
Excitingly, Emma Corrin has been cast as the iconic Elizabeth Bennet, with Jack Lowden playing Mr. Darcy and Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet. Newcomers Hollie Avery and Hopey Parish will be portraying Kitty and Mary Bennet.
The adaptation will be directed by Euros Lyn and written by Dolly Alderton, promising to stay true to the classic novel penned by Jane Austen. Alderton also serves as an executive producer on the project and expressed their gratitude for being part of this retelling, highlighting the timelessness of Austen’s work.
