First Look at Elizabeth Bennet in Netflix’s Pride and Prejudice Series

This exciting production marks the beginning of a new limited series adaptation of the beloved novel, “Pride and Prejudice,” on Netflix. The show promises to faithfully retell the classic love story set in 19th-century England. The series will be directed by Euros Lyn from “Heartstopper” and “Doctor Who,” and written by best-selling author Dolly Alderton.

The stacked lineup of talent includes Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg, and Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley. Jamie Demetriou joins the cast as Mr. Collins, with Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, and Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley. Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery will make their screen debuts as Mary and Kitty Bennet.

The lead roles of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy will be played by Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden, respectively. Olivia Colman, known for “The Crown” and “The Favourite,” will take on the role of the Bennet family matriarch, Mrs. Bennet. Additionally, Anjana Vasan, Sebastian Armesto, Rosie Cavaliero, Saffron Coomber, James Dryden, Justin Edwards, James Northcote, Eloise Webb, and Isabella Sermon round out the star-studded cast.
