“Marvel Animation’s Eyes of Wakanda Available on Disney+ Starting August 1”
Marvel Animation’s “Eyes of Wakanda” will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting on August 1st, 2025, ahead of its original release schedule. This action-adventure series, consisting of four episodes, delves into the adventures of courageous Wakandan warriors across different time periods. They embark on perilous missions to recover Vibranium artifacts from Wakanda’s enemies, known as the Hatut Zaraze.
The voice cast includes Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose. The show is led by director and executive producer Todd Harris, known for his work on major film franchises like “John Wick” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Harris, who previously collaborated with director Ryan Coogler on “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” now directs “Eyes of Wakanda.”
The series was produced in partnership with Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Kalia King. Its executive producers include Ryan Coogler, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt. Fans can look forward to an exciting journey through Wakandan history filled with action and adventure when “Eyes of Wakanda” premieres on Disney+ next month.
