Man Sentenced on Lesser Charge for Dragging Woman with SUV in Campbell
A Struthers man involved in a disturbing incident has been sentenced for his actions. Nicholas Mshar, 45, initially faced a felony charge of felonious assault but ultimately agreed to a lesser charge of misdemeanor assault. Back in June, police were called to Tremble Avenue and 14th Street after reports of a woman being struck by an SUV. Upon arrival, they found a woman who claimed she had been dragged by Mshar after an argument inside the vehicle.
The court decided that Mshar will spend 21 days in jail following a total sentence of 180 days, with 150 of those days suspended. Additionally, he will be on probation for 12 months. As part of his sentence, Mshar is required to undergo anger management and follow treatment recommendations.
It’s crucial for individuals to recognize the consequences of their actions and seek appropriate help when needed. Let’s all strive to cultivate a community of understanding and respect.
