Weekend Streaming Guide: Latest Shows and Movies on Netflix, Hulu, Prime

This weekend, there’s a diverse array of shows and movies to stream that are worth checking out. From angry golfers to powerful superheroes, historical fiction adventures, magical fables, weird horror, and hilarious political satire, there’s something for everyone.

As someone who loves to unwind with a good TV show or movie, I scour the internet and various streaming services to find the best picks for the weekend. Even on beautiful summer days, there’s nothing like ending the day with some great entertainment.

I also believe in the communal experience of going to the movies and sipping on a soda, so I always include the latest theatrical releases in my list. It’s a great way to connect with others and enjoy a film together.

If you have any suggestions or if I missed something, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook. And don’t forget to check out last weekend’s streaming guide for even more recommendations.

This weekend’s lineup includes a new season of South Park on Paramount, kicking off with satirical takes on current events. Hulu brings us “Washington Black,” a historical fiction miniseries with a fascinating storyline. Netflix offers “Happy Gilmore 2,” a sequel that may be hit or miss for fans of the original. Prime Video is showcasing “Wicked,” a beloved musical adaptation. And on HBO Max, you can watch “Death of a Unicorn,” a horror movie with a unique twist.

If you’re in the mood for something in theaters, “Fantastic Four: First Steps” is a new release that I just watched with my son. Stay tuned for my review after I finish compiling this guide. With a mix of genres and themes, this weekend’s streaming options are sure to keep you entertained. Enjoy!
