Marvel Studios’ “Eyes of Wakanda” is moving up its premiere date on Disney+! Originally planned for August 27, the animated series will now drop all four episodes on August 1. Created and directed by Todd Harris, “Eyes of Wakanda” is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Sacred Timeline.” The first episode, set in 1260 B.C.E., follows Noni, a former Dora Milaje member voiced by Winnie Harlow, as she aims to stop the warlord known as the Lion. The voice cast includes Anika Noni Rose, Steve Toussaint, and others, bringing the story to life.
The animation, done by Axis Animation, draws inspiration from African-American artists, promising to push Marvel’s boundaries. This series is the 15th official MCU show and connects directly to the franchise’s main storyline. Get ready to explore Wakanda like never before when “Eyes of Wakanda” hits Disney+ on August 1!
