Lost White Peacock Found in Luton Couple’s Garden

A lovely peacock has made itself at home in the garden of Roger, 83, and Bernie Deamer, 81, in Cockernhoe, Hertfordshire, and they’re on a mission to find its owner. They lovingly named the white peacock “Snowy” for its pristine feathers and friendly demeanor.

The Deamers reached out online and even contacted local spots like Hatfield House and Luton Hoo, as well as the RSPCA, to try and reunite the bird with its rightful owner. However, since Snowy isn’t injured, the RSPCA wasn’t able to assist.

Snowy enjoys munching on clover and pheasant food in the Deamer’s garden, but for safety reasons, they are concerned about its well-being in the upcoming winter months when foxes may pose a threat. Despite wanting Snowy to find its way back home, the Deamers have grown attached to the elegant bird and would miss it if it were to leave.

The Deamers suspect that Snowy may be microchipped, which would make it easier to locate its owner. Snowy is a majestic sight, according to the Deamers, and they adore watching it roost high up in a tree at night, only to return to their garden in the morning.

While the Deamers are determined to find Snowy’s owner, they can’t help but appreciate the beauty and charm that the peacock brings to their garden. Keep an eye out for more updates on this heartwarming story as the search for Snowy’s home continues.
