Breaking Bad creator reveals release date for new sci-fi show starring Better Call Saul actor

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has announced a release date for his highly-anticipated new sci-fi series, Pluribus, which will premiere on Apple TV+ in November. The show stars Rhea Seehorn, known for her Emmy-nominated role in Better Call Saul, another show by Gilligan.

The first two episodes of Pluribus will drop on November 7, with new episodes airing weekly until the finale on December 26. According to Apple TV+, the series is about “the most miserable person on Earth [who] must save the world from happiness.” Excitingly, a second season has already been confirmed.

In addition to Seehorn, the show will feature Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga, with guest appearances from Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte. Although many details are being kept under wraps, the show is said to be similar to The Twilight Zone and The X-Files, with a unique take on human nature in a changed world.

Gilligan has expressed his hopes for creating inspiring characters in a time where real-life villains seem to dominate the world stage. He is excited to share this new story with audiences on Apple TV+ after the show garnered interest from several networks and streaming services.

Fans of Gilligan’s previous work can expect the same thought-provoking storytelling and drama in Pluribus, set in a world that changes drastically in the first episode, promising a thrilling ride for viewers. With its premiere just around the corner, this new series is definitely one to look out for.
