Dawes Share “When My Time Comes” from the Nothing is Wrong Sessions

Dawes, the celebrated California rock band, recently released a fresh version of their beloved track “When My Time Comes” from the Nothing Is Wrong Sessions. This new rendition is available on all streaming platforms now and will also be featured in the upcoming season finale of the sports comedy series Stick on Apple TV+.

Recorded back in 2010 under the guidance of Jonathan Wilson, this version of “When My Time Comes” adds a new twist to the fan-favorite classic. According to Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, the rediscovery of this version was quite a surprise for the band. Initially, it was created for a sync opportunity that never materialized, but fast forward to late last year and the song was being considered for Stick. With some mixing tweaks, they were able to enhance the cinematic quality of the track and bring it back to life.

Dawes founders Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith have been actively supporting MusiCares’ relief efforts for musicians affected by the Southern California wildfires earlier this year. They recently performed at the FireAid benefit concert in LA, showcasing their solidarity with the community through music.

Their latest album, Oh Brother, has been making waves with its unique sound and heartfelt lyrics. Dawes has been on tour, bringing their music to fans across the country. If you’re a Dawes fan, be sure to catch them in a city near you or hop aboard the Cayamo cruise in 2026 for an unforgettable musical experience.
