Custodial Interference Case: Mother and Daughter Missing – Have You Seen Them?

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing mom and daughter. Sarah Coultas, 48, and her six-year-old daughter, Violet Coultas-Benson, were last seen on Sunday, July 6 around 4 p.m. at the top of Milolii Road in South Kona.

Coultas is wanted for questioning in connection with a custodial interference investigation. She most recently lived in Pa‘auilo and worked in Hilo, but she may frequent the Kona and Ka‘u areas. Coultas is described as 5′11″, 160 pounds, with straight brown hair and hazel eyes. Violet Coultas-Benson is described as 3′10″, 43 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes.

Coultas may be driving a silver 2005 or 2006 Toyota Corolla with a faded hood, but the license plate is unknown.
