Peacock price increases: How much it will cost you

Attention “Love Island” fans! Get ready to pay a bit more to watch your favorite show on Peacock next season. NBCUniversal’s streaming service is increasing its prices by $3 per month, starting later this month. So, if you’re on the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan, you’ll soon be paying $10.99 per month instead of $7.99. And if you prefer the ad-free experience on Premium Plus, get ready to shell out $16.99 per month, up from $13.99.

Annual plans are affected too. Peacock Premium’s yearly subscription will cost $109.99 instead of $79.99, while Premium Plus will go up to $169.99 from $139.99. These changes are expected to kick in on July 23 for new subscribers. But if you’re already subscribed, you might see the new prices reflected on your bill as early as August 22, depending on your billing cycle.

NBCUniversal previously raised prices by $2 before the 2024 Summer Olympics. The last time Peacock made headlines, it was for settling a $3.6 million lawsuit in Los Angeles County over issues with its auto-renewal process. So, while you’re getting ready to binge-watch “Love Island,” keep an eye on those subscription costs! Stay tuned for more updates from Peacock, and happy streaming!
