2025 Basketball Tournament: Schedule, TV Channels, Streaming, Dates
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is about to kick off with 64 teams competing for a $1 million prize. The games will run from July 18 to August 3. You can catch the action on FOX, FS1, and FS2, with the championship game airing on FOX on August 3 at 4 p.m. ET. If you prefer to stream the games, you can do so on the FOX Sports website or the FOX Sports App. YouTube will also be streaming some of the TBT games.
If you don’t have a cable subscription, there are streaming services like YouTube TV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, and fuboTV that carry FOX, FS1, and FS2. You can also try using an antenna to catch the games on your local FOX station if you have good reception.
The tournament starts on July 18 and will wrap up on August 3. You can find the full schedule with dates and times online. Some exciting matchups to look forward to include War Ready vs X-Rayted and La Familia vs Stroh’s Squad on July 18.
TBT showcases teams made up of former college stars, with 64 teams split into eight regions competing in a single-elimination format. Some big names from previous tournaments like Willie Cauley-Stein, Montrezl Harrell, Russ Smith, and Yogi Ferrell are set to return this year. Plus, there’s the added twist of the Elam Ending where the game clock turns off in the fourth quarter, and a target score is set. The first team to hit that score wins.
This year, TBT is introducing “Home Court Advantage,” allowing host teams to play in their home arena up to the championship game. Louisville fans clinched the advantage by selling 4,000 tickets first and will host the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship game if the Louisville alumni team keeps winning. So, get ready for some thrilling basketball action in The Basketball Tournament 2025!
