Apple TV+ just gave us a sneak peek at the second season of Platonic, a heartwarming show with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as lifelong pals. The new trailer, dropped on Thursday, gives us a glimpse into how Will’s romance impacts their friendship.
In the preview, Sylvia (played by Byrne) shares her concerns with her husband, Charlie (Luke Macfarlane), saying, “Will and I always get screwy when he’s in a couple. I don’t wanna lose him again.” She adds, “If I were to replace him now, it would take 25 years for me and this new friend to catch up to where Will and I are, and by then I’m practically dead, and who cares?” The show also features Carla Gallo, Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Milo Manheim.
The new season is set to premiere on August 6 with two back-to-back episodes that promise to keep fans entertained. The official synopsis hints at the rocky road ahead for the duo, teasing, “The duo tries their best to be each other’s rock, but sometimes rocks break things.”
