Bill Belichick and UNC Docuseries Coming to Hulu After Hard Knocks Setback

Bill Belichick’s journey to the big screen is finally happening with a new docuseries on Hulu. The University of North Carolina coach is slated to have his first season with the Tar Heels documented for viewers, following a failed deal with HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”

The show is reported to focus on the 2025 season, but the deal hasn’t been finalized yet, despite production already kicking off. Talks with HBO fell through, partly due to Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who allegedly wanted creative control.

It’s not clear who will ultimately decide on the content or what role Hudson will play in the series. Hudson, listed as the COO of Belichick Productions, has caused controversy before, including an incident where she interrupted a “60 Minutes” interview to avoid relationship questions.

Although banned from UNC football facilities, per reports, the school clarified that Hudson is still welcome there. She manages all of Belichick’s personal brand activities outside his university duties.

Trademark filings for potential series names like “Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version)” and “No Days Off (Bill’s Version)” suggest some title options, but nothing has been officially announced yet. Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming Hulu docuseries featuring Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
