Prime Video Launches Birmingham City Docuseries on 1 August
Prime Video is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated series, Built In Birmingham: Brady & the Blues, on August 1st. The show, co-exec produced by Steven Knight, is set to follow the Championship football club under the ownership of an American consortium that includes NFL legend Tom Brady.
The project, which was first revealed back in April, explores the team’s journey under new ownership, with a unique focus on the cultural heritage of Birmingham and the passionate fanbase of the club. Embedded camera crews have been on hand to capture behind-the-scenes moments with players, coaching staff, and key ownership figures like head coach Chris Davies, chairman Tom Wagner, and minority owner Tom Brady himself.
Co-created by Brady and Religion of Sports co-founder Gotham Chopra, the series promises an inside look at the team like never before. With all five episodes dropping at once, viewers can binge-watch the entire season from day one. The show is also co-directed by Chopra and Claudia Corbisiero, offering a fresh perspective on the club’s journey.
