Apple TV+ Docuseries Receives 6 Daytime Emmy Awards Nominations

Apple has landed an incredible six Daytime Emmy nominations for an exciting nature docuseries produced in collaboration with the BBC Studios Natural History Unit. The winners will be announced this October.

Just today, the Television Academy unveiled the nominees for the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards. The winners will be disclosed on October 17, a little over a month following the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, set for September 14.

One of the series scoring nods is “The Secret Lives of Animals,” a 10-episode documentary series on Apple TV+ that premiered late last year. Narrated by Hugh Bonneville (known for Downton Abbey and Paddington), the show is in the running for several award categories:

– Outstanding Directing Team for a Single Camera Daytime Non-Fiction Program

This marks Apple’s third successful team-up with the BBC’s Natural History Unit, following the noteworthy Prehistoric Planet and The Year Earth Changed.
