“Dexter: Resurrection” Review – Michael C. Hall’s Return as Killer

If you’ve ever seen a movie or show about someone struggling with gambling, you’ll know the scene: they finally win big, overcome their addiction, and it seems like everything is going to be okay. But then, of course, someone suggests going double or nothing, and we all yell at the screen, “Don’t do it! You made it out on top!” It’s that moment of hope that makes us forget the reality of addiction.

That’s where Dexter finds himself at the end of Dexter: New Blood. Creator Clyde Phillips decided to shake things up and take our favorite serial killer to New York City in Dexter: Resurrection. There, Dexter encounters both familiar faces and new threats, setting the stage for a whole new chapter in his story.

While some fans might find this reboot unnecessary, others will find it amusing and exciting to see Michael C. Hall return as Dexter Morgan. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love seeing a beloved character like Dexter in a new and different setting, ready to face new challenges and adventures? Get ready for more entertainment, silliness, and maybe a few frustrations along the way in this latest installment of the Dexter franchise.
