The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder Season 3 Disney+ Trailer Hits the Road
Disney+ is bringing back a fan favorite with “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” returning on August 6. Fans are excited to see this revival of the classic animated series that has been confirmed for not just Season 3, but also Season 4 in 2026.
Season 3 will see series creator Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar at the helm, taking Penny Proud and her friends on international adventures with fantastical backdrops reminiscent of “The Proud Family Movie.” The trailer for Season 3 is out now for viewers to enjoy!
Janelle James and Sanaa Lathan are among the guest stars for Season 3, along with new faces like Kirk Franklin, Bubba Wallac, Adirenne Warren, Lynn Whitfield, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Plus, fans can look forward to 10 new original songs by Kurt Farquhar, with performances by Roccstar.
“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” will continue the story of Penny Proud and her iconic family, including parents Oscar and Trudy, twins BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Together with her friends like Dijonay Jones and LaCienega Boulevardez, Penny’s adventures promise to be entertaining for fans.
Produced by Disney Television Animation and BaR Productions, the series has received numerous awards, including NAMIC, NAACP Image Awards, a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Series, GLAAD Media Awards, and Annie Awards nominations.
