Hollywood legend cancels event due to health reasons

Silver, still in good spirits, hosted the event in his absence, explaining to attendees that Van Dyke was not feeling well that day, apologizing for his absence. She mentioned that at almost 100 years old, there are good days and bad days, and unfortunately, that day was a bad one for him.

Despite the setback, Van Dyke still managed to make a virtual appearance at the event. His wife shared with PEOPLE magazine that he had no intentions of slowing down, even at his age.

The actor, known for his roles in iconic shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show and beloved films like Mary Poppins, has experienced a career resurgence well into his 90s.
