Will Nicholas Hoult Join HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series? Find Out Here
Nicholas Hoult, the actor known for his work in the X-Men franchise and the Great, recently revealed during an interview that he might have a chance to join the world of Harry Potter. Hoult mentioned that he auditioned for Daniel Radcliffe’s role as Harry Potter years ago and now has the opportunity to be part of HBO’s upcoming TV series based on J.K. Rowling’s magical books.
During a recent appearance on the Today show, Craig Melvin asked Hoult if he would consider joining the Harry Potter universe. Hoult expressed his appreciation for the stories and his positive working relationship with the show’s director, Mark Mylod. Although he feels he might be a bit too old to play Harry Potter now, Melvin suggested that he could still be involved in the series through a different character, to which Hoult responded positively.
HBO announced in April 2023 that they would be adapting the Harry Potter books into a TV series, dedicating one season to each of the seven novels. According to Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO & Max Content, this new series will explore the beloved books in detail and satisfy the enduring love fans have for the Wizarding World.
With his previous connection to the director and his enthusiasm for the stories, it looks like Nicholas Hoult might indeed find a way to be part of the magical world of Harry Potter on screen. Who knows, maybe we’ll see him casting spells and brewing potions sooner rather than later!
