Location Managers Guild International Nominees: ‘Sinners’, ‘Anora’, Egypt Film Commission
The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) has announced the nominees for its 12th Annual Awards show, happening in Santa Monica on August 23. These awards honor outstanding achievements in film, television, and commercials, as well as film commissions from around the world. The LMGI received a record number of submissions this year, including films like Anora, Sinners, and Adolescence.
Some of the nominees for contemporary and period feature films include A Real Pain, Conclave, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, The Apprentice, A Complete Unknown, and Gladiator II. In the television category, shows like The Last Of Us, Slow Horses, The Day Of The Jackal, One Hundred Years Of Solitude, and 1923 are vying for recognition.
Additionally, five film commissions have been nominated, including the Egypt Film Commission for Fountain Of Youth, British Columbia Film Commission/Creative BC for The Last Of Us, and the City of Toronto Film Office for Season 6 of The Handmaid’s Tale.
The LMGI Awards committee for 2025 is chaired by John Rakich and Nancy Haecker. The nominees for outstanding locations in contemporary feature films, period feature films, contemporary television series, period television series, and television anthology, Mow, or limited series are listed above.
The film commissions nominated this year include British Columbia Film Commission/Creative BC for The Last Of Us – Season 2, City of Toronto Film Office for The Handmaid’s Tale – Season 6, Egypt Film Commission for Fountain Of Youth, Film New Orleans for Sinners, Montana Film Office for 1923 – Season 2, and New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission for A Complete Unknown.
