Foxtel Expands Music Offering with 34 New Channels as Paramount+ Deals Conclude
Foxtel is keeping the music alive with the launch of 34 new channels, even after parting ways with Paramount+ this month. Through exciting new partnerships with Vevo, Nightlife Music, and LiSTNR, Foxtel is bringing a diverse range of music content to its platforms.
Hilary Perchard, the Chief of Foxtel, Kayo Sports, and Binge, expressed their excitement about these new deals, emphasizing the goal of connecting users of all ages and interests with music they love while also showcasing Australian talent. With a wide variety of music options on both TV and streaming, Foxtel aims to bring people together and celebrate the Aussie music scene.
Thanks to the partnership with Nightlife Music, fan-favorite channels like Max and CMC are making a comeback with fresh music video programming. Additionally, a new channel called Australian Played will exclusively feature local music.
The lineup of new channels includes Trending, Kids, Club, and Retro, all of which will be ad-free. Vevo is also joining the mix with channels like Vevo 70s and Vevo Country, adding to the existing Vevo Pop, Vevo Rock, Vevo 90s, and Vevo 2K options. And don’t forget about LiSTNR, which is debuting as Foxtel’s new linear audio music partner.
Excitingly, all these new music offerings will be available on Foxtel and Binge platforms starting from July 1st. So get ready to groove to your favorite tunes and discover new music through Foxtel’s diverse range of music channels!
