Upcoming MCU Disney+ Series Post-Ironheart Release (2025 & Beyond)

Ironheart is the latest Marvel series to hit Disney+, but it’ll be wrapping up soon, leaving fans eager for more. Fortunately, there’s a whole lineup of exciting Marvel content planned for the rest of 2025 and beyond.

Kicking off the list is “Eyes of Wakanda,” an animated miniseries set to premiere on August 6. This anthology-style show follows warriors from Wakanda on espionage missions throughout various time periods as they recover Vibranium artifacts. With discussions about some surprising character appearances, it’s bound to be a thrilling watch.

Next up is “Marvel Zombies,” another animated series spinning off from the “What If…?” zombies episode. Set to be released on October 3, this show will depict surviving MCU heroes navigating a zombie apocalypse and facing off against their undead friends and foes. Expect to hear familiar voices, including Simu Liu, David Harbour, Hailee Steinfeld, and Elizabeth Olsen.

In December, get ready for “Wonder Man,” a miniseries featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a struggling superpowered actor who tries out for a role in a superhero TV show. Alongside him is MCU’s very own Mandarin actor, Trevor Slattery, portrayed by Ben Kingsley. This show is part of the Spotlight banner, making it accessible even if you’re not well-versed in the wider cinematic universe.

Looking ahead to 2026, we have “Vision Quest,” a follow-up to the beloved “WandaVision.” This series delves into the journey of White Vision from “WandaVision” as he seeks to recover his memories. Get ready for the return of Ultron, FRIDAY, and EDITH, promising both a sequel to “WandaVision” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

Fans of “Daredevil: Born Again” will be thrilled to hear that a second season is already in the works, set to arrive in 2026. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles, joined by Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones in this action-packed series.

“Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” has been renewed for both a second and third season. This animated show offers a fresh take on Peter Parker’s story with cameos from iconic Marvel characters, promising an annual release schedule.

Lastly, we have “X-Men ’97” Season 2, building on the success of the classic animated series reboot. With a similar style and familiar mutants returning, this series is sure to captivate fans old and new.

Exciting times lie ahead for Marvel enthusiasts, so mark your calendars for these upcoming releases on Disney+!
