Weekend Streaming Guide: New Shows and Movies on Netflix, Hulu, Prime

Happy almost-July, everyone! Time sure does fly, doesn’t it? While many of us are soaking up the sun and enjoying outdoor activities, sometimes there’s nothing better than winding down with a good show or movie.

I’ve searched high and low this week to bring you the best of what’s streaming, so whether you’re a fan of intense dramas or light-hearted comedies, I’ve got you covered. If you have any recommendations or if I missed something, feel free to reach out on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.

Let’s dive into what’s new and notable this weekend:

Squid Game – Season 3 (Netflix)
Season 1 of Squid Game really grabbed my attention, but the introduction of American characters and twists in Season 2 left me hesitant to dive back in for Season 3. Critics are giving it a thumbs up, but audience reviews are mixed. Let me know your thoughts on Seasons 2 and 3!

The Bear – Season 4 (Hulu)
While I skipped Season 2 of Squid Game for some reason, I’m surprised I fell behind on The Bear. The gritty realism and Chicago setting intrigued me in Season 1, and I should catch up before diving into the newly released fourth season.

Ironheart (Disney+)
The latest MCU series on Disney+, Ironheart, hasn’t piqued my interest despite comparisons to Breaking Bad. Reviews, both from critics and fans, are lackluster, and the premise of a teenage inventor creating advanced power armor doesn’t quite grab me.

Revival (SyFy / Peacock)
Although I missed Revival’s initial run on SyFy, the concept of a rural Wisconsin community experiencing a revival of the deceased sounds intriguing. I’ll be giving this one a watch soon to see what the buzz is all about.

From thrilling dramas to captivating comedies, this weekend’s streaming options have something for everyone. So grab a snack, get comfortable, and enjoy some quality entertainment. Cheers to a great weekend of binge-watching!
