UConn Women’s Basketball Docuseries to Stream on Apple TV+
Apple TV+ has just announced an exciting new three-part docuseries that takes an in-depth look at the UConn women’s basketball team and their incredible 40 years under the guidance of coach Geno Auriemma. This series, currently in production, is directed by Matthew Hamachek and Erica Sashin.
The docuseries will follow UConn’s journey to becoming a powerhouse in women’s sports, featuring archival footage, interviews, and behind-the-scenes access to the 2024-25 championship team. Produced by Skydance Sports, with executive production from Learfield Studios and Brillstein Creative Partners, this series promises to be a thrilling and informative exploration of a legendary team’s legacy.
