Netflix approves new Jed Mercurio thriller for production

Creator Jed Mercurio, known for his work on Bodyguard, takes on the role of showrunner and writer for Trinity. Joining him as executive producers are Jimmy Mulville for Hat Trick Mercurio and Wendy Mericle. Michael Cuesta will direct and executive produce the series’ first and second episodes.

Trinity promises an intense storyline with an all-star cast, featuring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard Madden in lead roles. The eight-episode series delves into the consequences of a naval officer uncovering a potentially deadly conspiracy involving the Secretary of Defense. With Mercurio at the helm, viewers can expect a gripping and suspenseful thriller that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
