Faith-Based Wonder Project Launches Paid Channel on Prime for Kids

Faith-based entertainment is on the rise, and Wonder Project is joining the movement with its new streaming channel on Prime Video in the US. The service, launching this fall, will be available for US$8.99 per month and will feature a mix of original titles and curated acquisitions totaling over 1,000 hours of series and films.

While the exact content lineup is still a mystery, Wonder Project promises a focus on family-friendly programming that kids and parents can enjoy together. The channel will offer “family-safe” versions of popular movies and original content that includes family comedies and other genres.

CEO Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten expressed excitement about the shared viewing experience the channel will bring to homes, particularly for families looking for faith-based and value-driven content. Wonder Project aims to make it easy for viewers to identify whether the content is suitable for families.

Founded by Jon Erwin in 2023, Wonder Project has quickly made a name for itself in the industry. The studio has already found success with its biblical live-action series, “House of David,” which premiered on Prime Video earlier this year and has amassed over 40 million viewers. The upcoming launch of the second season exclusively on Wonder Project’s channel is expected to attract more subscribers.

With the growing demand for faith-based and family-friendly content, Wonder Project is poised to make a significant impact in the streaming space. By offering a curated selection of content that aligns with its values, the studio aims to provide an enriching and entertaining viewing experience for audiences looking for wholesome entertainment.
