The letter strongly asserts, “We hereby demand that you, Redbird, and Skydance immediately cease your interference. If these activities continue, we will have no choice but to act to both protect our rights and discharge any obligations we may have to the public.”

While a representative for Redbird and Skydance has defended Shell’s actions, claiming that Skydance has the right to approve material contracts under the terms of the transaction agreement, Park County argues that with the merger between Paramount Global and Skydance pending, Shell should not have been involved in these negotiations.
