Prime Video NASCAR viewership reaches 2.16 million, attracting younger audience
Prime Video had an average of 2.16 million viewers for its NASCAR Cup Series races this season. This marked the streaming service’s first time carrying NASCAR events under a seven-year rights deal. The average viewership was slightly lower than last year, dropping by 17.6% from 2.62 million for the same five races. Notably, the average age of viewers for the Prime Video races was 56.1, which is almost seven years younger than viewers who watched the first 12 races. This shift to streaming platforms reflects a larger trend in sports broadcasting, where audiences are changing their viewing habits. These numbers suggest that younger fans are tuning in to NASCAR races on Prime Video.
