Jilly Pearce Named Head of Unscripted Programming at ABC and Hulu

Disney has welcomed Jilly Pearce as the new Senior Vice President of unscripted programming for ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals. Formerly the President of Objective Media Group America, Jilly brings a wealth of experience to this new role.

In her position, Jilly will oversee the development of unscripted shows for both ABC and Hulu. She will also manage the current programming lineup, which includes popular shows like Dancing With the Stars and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Reporting to Rob Mills, the Executive Vice President of unscripted and alternative entertainment at Walt Disney Television, Jilly will play a key role in shaping the future of unscripted content at Disney.

Jilly expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m excited to join Craig Erwich, Rob Mills, and their incredible teams at Disney Entertainment Television – the force behind some of the most innovative and compelling shows on television. I look forward to building on their successful relationships and collaborating on entertaining new formats and beloved returning series.”

During her time at Objective Media, Jilly led the production of several notable projects, including CBS’ game show Lingo, TBS’ The Cube, and PBS’ The Great American Recipe. With experience at Channel 4 in the U.K. and MTV under her belt, Jilly brings a unique perspective to her new position at Disney.
