Eddy Arias: Consultant at Paramount for 2019 Launch
In early 2019, I had the amazing opportunity to join Paramount as a consultant, supporting the launch of Paramount+ in Latin America. Working alongside incredibly talented teams, I was able to contribute to the international growth of Pluto TV by securing 485 content partnerships, launching 1,400 channels, and delivering 300,000 hours of content to viewers worldwide.
Together, we achieved some significant milestones:
– We became the first global FAST platform to debut six first-window films.
– We introduced “Beija Sapo,” our first original dating show in Brazil.
– Big Brother in Argentina set a record with 1.5 billion total viewing minutes.
– We secured live rights to the Olympic Games for the Olymipic Games.
– We brought live creator-led sports through our partnership with The Icon League in Germany.
– We expanded the presence of iconic brands like FIFA, Real Madrid C.F., CNN, Sony Pictures Entertainment, NBCUniversal, and Lionsgate in international markets.
I also had the honor of representing Pluto TV as a keynote speaker and panelist at industry events like NATPE, MIPTV, Advertising Week LATAM, ContentAmericas, SPORTEL, and MIP Cancún. It was a pleasure to share the story of our work with others.
