Marvel Cancels Disney+ Original, Fans Disappointed
Marvel fans, it’s time to pour one out for a beloved MCU-centric show. If you’ve been keeping up with Marvel Studios: Assembled on Disney+, you may have noticed that no new episodes are in the works as of now.
Since 2021, this docuseries has delved into the making of various MCU movies and shows, starting with Phase Four. With 23 episodes already out, we’ve gotten insider looks at productions like WandaVision, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and both seasons of Loki.
While Disney hasn’t confirmed the cancellation yet, it seems like Assembled has reached the end of its run for now. This news hits hard for those of us who enjoy behind-the-scenes documentaries. Personally, I loved hearing the cast and crew discuss their creative processes, especially in episodes like the ones about WandaVision and Shang-Chi.
I can’t help but feel a bit bummed about missing out on potential episodes about upcoming Marvel movies like Avengers: Doomsday and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It would have been amazing to see the behind-the-scenes work on these highly anticipated films.
But don’t lose hope just yet! Shows like Marvel Studios: Legends have gone on hiatus before, only to make comebacks later on. So, who knows? Maybe Assembled will return in the future to give us more insider info on our favorite MCU projects.
In the meantime, you can still catch up on past episodes of Marvel Studios: Assembled on Disney+ or check out some of them on YouTube. And of course, stay tuned for more updates on upcoming Marvel shows. Excelsior!
