Hank Enjoys His Time at George W in New KING OF THE HILL Clip
Hank Hill is making a memorable stop at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Museum! It seems that one of Hank Hill’s first visits after coming back home from his life in Saudi Arabia is to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Museum. In the latest KING OF THE HILL clip, Hank is basking in delight as he goes on a guided tour of the museum.
For fans of the original King of the Hill, you’ll remember that the show ended its 13-season run in 2009, and the show’s timeline always closely mirrored its airing years. That means Hank’s return to the United States likely overlapped with the completion of the George W. Bush Presidential Center in 2013, which is where the scene is set at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, Texas.
While the original show ended years ago, the highly-anticipated 14th season is set to premiere on Hulu on August 4th, a thrilling return for the beloved series, which has shifted from Fox to Hulu. The change came as King of the Hill now falls under the Disney umbrella and no longer quite fits into Fox’s lineup, so it found a new home on Hulu.
The upcoming season takes fans several years into the future after the original finale and shows Bobby, Hank’s son, all grown up and working as a chef in Dallas. The future looks bright for the Hill family as the show brings back fan-favorite characters and familiar voices like Mike Judge as Hank Hill and Boomhauer, Kathy Najimy as Peggy Hill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive, Lauren Tom as Minh and Connie Souphanousinphone, Ashley Gardner as Nancy Gribble and Didi Hill, and Jonathan Joss as John Redcorn.
Hulu is showing confidence in the fans’ excitement by renewing the revival for two seasons, set against the backdrop of Hank and Peggy Hill returning to Arlen to reconnect with their old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill after years working in Saudi Arabia. So be sure to mark your calendars for the King of the Hill revival, coming soon to Hulu!
