Frozen Broadway Musical Now Available on Disney+

Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical has made its debut on Disney+, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy the West End production from the comfort of their own homes. Starring Samantha Barks as Elsa, the musical was filmed earlier this year at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The cast also includes Laura Dawkes as Anna, Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as Hans, Richard Frame as the Duke of Weselton, and Mikayla Jade as Sven.

Joining other Broadway pro-shots on Disney+, such as Newsies: The Hit Broadway Musical and Disney’s Broadway Hits, this production brings the magic of Disney on Broadway to your screen, including the popular Hamilton. The musical features 12 new songs created specifically for the Broadway adaptation along with beloved classics like For the First Time in Forever, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, and Let It Go. The music and lyrics were composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee. The production was directed by Michael Grandage with choreography by Rob Ashford.

The official description of Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical follows the familiar story of Queen Elsa’s powers casting Arendelle into eternal winter, prompting her sister Anna to embark on a quest to save the kingdom. As the sisters face challenges, they discover that only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart.
