Sinners announces HBO Max streaming date
Ryan Coogler’s horror film, Sinners, has seen massive success in theaters, raking in a whopping $360 million. The movie, which stars Michael B. Jordan, is set to hit HBO Max on July 4, just two weeks after its theatrical run. In the film, Jordan plays a set of twins who come back to their hometown in Mississippi with the goal of using gangster money to bring about positive change in their community. However, things take a dark turn when they encounter vampires and face off against racists.
Jordan’s dual performance in the movie has received high praise, as has the ensemble cast, which includes Wunmi Mosaku, Miles Canton, Hailee Steinfeld, and Jack O’Connell. Director Coogler’s vision of the 1930s South has also garnered acclaim for its authenticity and immersive storytelling. While the film’s stunning visuals may not translate as well on smaller screens, having it available on HBO Max will be a treat for fans.
Sinners will be available for streaming on HBO Max starting July 4, followed by a non-streaming release on traditional HBO the next day. So mark your calendars and get ready to dive into this captivating horror film!
