The peacock, found by Vikram Bhosale of the Life Protection and Conservation Trust, was drenched and unable to fly due to soaked feathers. After being rescued, the bird was returned to a safe natural environment by the Forest Department.

Bhosale highlighted the recent rescues of multiple snakes, such as Indian cobras and common kraits, in the area, urging devotees to stay alert during the Wari. He mentioned that snakes may be found near vegetation and water bodies, emphasizing caution.
