NCIS Tony and Ziva Release Date Confirmed – Later Than Expected
After much anticipation, Paramount+ has finally revealed the official premiere date for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, and it’s going to be a must-watch event of the fall TV season. Scheduled to debut on Thursday, September 4, 2025, the first three episodes will be available for streaming on that day. Subsequent episodes will be released every Thursday until the season 1 finale on October 23, 2025, for a total of 10 episodes.
Originally, there was some confusion about the premiere date, as there were hints that NCIS: Tony & Ziva would be released in August. However, it seems the official premiere has been pushed back to September to align better with the overall schedule of the NCIS franchise. With other popular NCIS shows like NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney also returning in the fall, Paramount+ likely wanted to coordinate the releases for maximum impact.
Created by John McNamara, NCIS: Tony & Ziva brings back familiar faces from the original NCIS series, with Michael Weatherly reprising his role as Anthony DiNozzo and Cote de Pablo returning as Ziva David. The show also features an ensemble cast including Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden, and James D’Arcy.
The official synopsis for NCIS: Tony & Ziva describes the show as picking up after Ziva’s supposed death and Tony leaving the NCIS team to raise their daughter. When Ziva is discovered alive, she and Tony reunite to raise their daughter, Tali, together. But when Tony’s security company is attacked, the couple must go on the run across Europe, unravelling a mystery and rebuilding trust. It promises to be an exciting and heartfelt journey for fans of the characters.
With the premiere date now set, fans can look forward to an official trailer dropping soon, possibly in August. Stay tuned for more updates on GeekSided and mark your calendars for the premiere of NCIS: Tony & Ziva on Paramount+ this fall. It’s definitely a show you won’t want to miss!
