Disney+ Adds 16 Virtual Disneyland Experiences for Park’s 70th Anniversary

On July 17th, Disney+ is treating us to a special gift in honor of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. They’re adding 16 new virtual experiences that will allow us to immerse ourselves in the magic of the Disneyland Resort from the comfort of our own homes.

Back in May, Disney+ released two P.O.V. experiences from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to celebrate May the 4th. And now, they’re taking it a step further by bringing us 16 new P.O.V. experiences from iconic Disneyland attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise.

These cinematic ride-alongs promise to capture the essence of seven decades of innovation and storytelling that have made Disneyland a beloved destination for generations. From soaring over the world in Soarin’ Around the World to embarking on an adventure with Indiana Jones, these experiences offer a new perspective on familiar favorites.

In addition to these virtual experiences, Disneyland Resort is also debuting two new attractions on July 17th. Richard Sherman’s touching final verse to “it’s a small world” will be added to the iconic ride, and guests can enjoy a new show at the Main Street Opera House featuring an audio-animatronic figure of Walt Disney himself.

So mark your calendars for July 17th and get ready to celebrate Disneyland’s 70th birthday in style with these exciting new additions on Disney+! It’s the perfect way to experience the magic of Disneyland from wherever you are.
